Troop 132 & 4132 Philosophy
Troops 132 & 4132 are based on the Patrol Method of scouting and is “Scout” led, with adult supervision for guidance and safety. Elections are held every 6 months for Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) and Patrol Leaders. Other positions are appointed by the SPL, with guidance from the Scoutmaster. The activities from camping to service projects are planned and run by the Scouts, as they learn what leadership style works best for them. We have had 207 Eagle scouts sprout from our ranks and have numerous Life scouts planning Eagle projects for the near future. Several of our Eagle scouts have returned and are serving as Assistant Scout Masters (ASMs) for our troop. We have a troop bus, which allows us to travel each month to a camping destination, while keeping the costs down. We love parental involvement as is evidenced by the long list of ASMs and committee members. We would love to add you to our team!
